Mr Eazi has held his first ever ‘Life Is Eazi’ concert in Lagos. The event held at the Landmark Event Centre, on Wednesday, December 21, 2016.
Mr Eazi has been the breakout Nigerian artiste of 2016, with sheer hard work and a string of hit songs propelling him on to the radar and into the hearts of millions around the world. Starting his music from neighboring country, Ghana, the young artiste crossed over in 2016, and has become a force.

Working his way up, Eazi’s discovery has produced ‘Skin tight’, ‘Annointing’, ‘Hollup’, ‘Bankulize’, and many others including collaborations with DJ Spinall, DJ Neptunes, Phyno, Illbliss, Reekado Banks, Eugy, Lil Kesh, Reminisce and others.
It is this work and the push behind his brand that made him go through with this concert. On paper, things looked a little difficult for him. His event was holding on a packed night, when the mighty Davido was rounding off Industry Nite concert a few kilometres away, BET award-winning superstar, Black Coffee was playing a set at a nearby party, and on the Lagos Mainland, Mavin Records were throwing their strength behind their prolific son, Reekado Banks at his ‘Thank You’ concert holding at the iconic New Afrika Shrine.

But it was Mr Eazi who got the crowd. Landmark Event centre was flowing to the brim, with many fans unable to get into the venue. Mr Eazi, a protagonist of the new school, who specializes in the creation of romance-themed songs and Ghanaian instrumentation, has a core fan base of predominantly teens and young adults. They were in full numbers this holiday season in their thousands, filled the hall to its capacity, and overflowed through the venue into the adjoining streets. Such was the strength of Mr Eazi’s celebrity and influence on the youths.

The star began the show with a number of opening acts, before bringing on Falz for a performance. The rapper’s set had the best of his singles including ‘Soft work’, ‘Soldier’, ‘Bahd, Baddo, Baddest’, among others.
Then there was Mr Eazi, who gave his best, backed by a live band. The singer ran through all of his songs, and had key collaborators Phyno, Reminisce, Mayorkun, and Illbliss come through with performances.
